We are big-time adrenaline junkies and we believe that, be it kids or grown-ups, a regular rush of adrenaline is an essential. At Himalayas Calling, we experience this thrill together through our wide range of adventure activities and expeditions.

We love where we live. And to keep our love affair with the mountains going, we show respect and consideration to our surroundings by practicing ecological tourism.

We are amazing hosts and we know it! We have a bunch of experienced skiers and mountaineers qualified from leading mountaineering institutes of India. Together, we treat our guests like family and take care of the smallest of their needs. So, even if you are traveling alone, you won’t have to worry about making friends.

Our culture is our pride- be it our food, clothes, music, our traditional dance or our mystical deities. Be sure that by the end of your trip, you will have fallen in love with the mountains, the forests, adventure sports and adrenaline rushes, Himachal and most importantly, yourself.

Vivek Mahajan

After twenty years of corporate life, Vivek has decided to re-kindle his love for the mountains by co-founding Himalayas Calling. He has put to use his management experience, his effortless street-smart solutions and impeccable work ethic to envision this dream-venture!

Himal Chauhan

He is our free-spirited co-founder who has a passionate love affair with the mountains. He's a talented mountaineer and skier who will always walk the extra mile to make your travel a memorable experience. He is a go-getter who believes in the saying: “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.”

Uday Kanwar

Uday is a child of the mountains in the true sense of the word! He breathes, eats, thinks and talks mountains and can’t imagine a life away from them. His undying passion has led him to climb numerous Himalayan peaks and lead many more summit expeditions and high altitude rescue operations.

Anil Nasta

A mountaineering veteran hailing from Rohru, Anil has spent many years training young mountaineering and skiiers. He may be a polite person to talk to but he is the strictest instructor that you will ever meet, who won’t let you move an inch unless he is dead sure of your safety!

Urvij Acharya

The patron of Himalayas Calling, He is a veteran when it comes to Himalayan Tourism. With his vast experience and knowledge of adventure and hospitality industry, he is our guiding force even if he is not physically present with us anymore. His memory and aura stay with us just like the eternal snow over the highest peaks.

Priyal Chauhan

A Mechanical Engineer by profession, but so much more than that, Priyalis the most diversely talented person in the crew! He is an engineer, a qualified mountaineer, skier, tour leading expert, guitarist, a dog lover and most of all, a passionate traveller.

Abhay Chauhan

Bitten by the travel bug, Abhay loves to explore and is not afraid of taking risks. After completing his studies in Hotel Management, he is gearing up to become one of the frontrunners in Himalayan tourism and hospitality industry.

Sanya Chauhan

Meet one of the most headstrong people of our team, and someone who knows how to get work done, and how to have fun! From the manufacture of the Himachali apple wine to national level skiing championships, she can spin up conversations with anyone on any topic and will make you fall in love with her refreshing personality.
